Josh Freeman has teased with glimpses of potential. But his .446 completion percentage is not what any coach wants, nor is his 9-to-1 ratio in interceptions-to-touchdowns.

When he inserted Freeman over Dylan Meier a month ago, Prince said the decision was made so Kansas State could use freshman's arm strength to decorate the entire field with passes.
