Cross Canadian Ragweed? Didn't go, had some friends that did that said it was pretty boring and there wasn't very much energy. The one funny thing though was that before the show started someone came out and said there was no smoking because of the smoking band and within two songs the lead guy was smoking a cigarette.

I can totally see that, but i've seen them in non acoustic form before and would have been up for something a little different if I were to pay to go see them again, ya know? OT: But there was a pretty entertaining band down at Maes last night as well.

Yeah, very fun. still rank third in my Hosty Trio, Hosty Duo, Sugarfree Allstar ranking order though. Wish Weiser could have held it together as a second fiddle when in the Trio and not quit and started the Allstars. The Trio was incredible.

I miss the Meat Purveyors. Saw their last show at Mae's a year or so ago. Not sure when that was, I'm getting older so the years run together.

Little known fact. He stormed out and quit and then went back a week later and said that he'd made a mistake and wanted back in and the other two were like "no, no you didn't. go ahead and go. you made the correct call"

I would like to have Cody Canadas children

Cody Canada story here. about 4-5 years ago after watching them at the beaumont. we hit up this lil dive bar down in westport. place is basically empty. in walks the band. buddy of mine who has a man crush on CCR and drunk off his ass has to get his picture taken with Cody. he gets Cody to come over to our table. nice guy talks with us for a bit, but he is fracked up big time. we get the picture taken, buddy says something like "gonna keep this in photo book or something" cody responds "you should put it in a cook book, cause i am baked". he continues to hang out with our small group until his wife comes and pulls him off. not very attractive woman. that is all.
