He went from savior to traitor in the speed of a text.  11th hour betrayal like that lasts for a while.

If he sucked, we wouldn't care, but he's a pretty good QB, so it makes it more painful, thus, more hate.

It's just the way it is.

Oh, and maybe you haven't noticed, but Nebraska football fans take Nebraska football very seriously, which is probably why an unlikely program in the middle of nowhere with zero recruiting advantage is considered one of the elite programs in college football.

I wonder how elite Houston Nutt thought your program was while he kept your sorry asses waiting on the tarmac for him all day?

Coaches turn down schools for a variety of reasons (KSU fans should understand this).  USC didn't get their top choices either before hiring Carroll.  Doesn't mean that USC isn't considered a top college football program, even during their down years.

After enduring BC, it might all be worth it if Pelini can do what I think he can do at NU.

Actually, ksu fans would be the last people to understand that.  We don't do coaching searches... unfortunately.

And Nebraska fans thank you for that (I think, as Snyder worked magic once, and might do it again).

The possibility of Patterson in Manhattan had Huskerdom nervously tittering for a while there.

not saying that Bill isn't a great coach but if Patterson would of came, it would of made things a whole lot more interesting in the north division. So thanks for not putting much effort into a search :woohoo:
