pepperbacon is better than plain. holy cow how come i didn't find this out ten years ago. also...what's the most bacon you've ever eaten in one sitting? me...probably like six slices. lmao at jokers who take sausage over bacon. sausage is good but come on.

I like to cook up like half a package of bacon for breakfast and eat 5 or 6 slices then leave the rest sitting out.  Then later on during the day when you want a snack you're like "sweet, bacon"  :lick:

Crisp greasy bacon or soggy greasy bacon?  I like it crispy.
Wondering who is running this hot dog stand and seriously considering heading out for tacos.

Bacon is awesome.  I'm not sure of my record for slices in one sitting, but i've knocked out bacon at all u can eat buffets and cooked a whole package at my house once.....16 slices.  I didn't eat it in one sitting but over the course of a whole day, no problem.

Bacon is terrible for you, but it just tastes too good to care.

Don't know a number but sure it's more than 6.  You can't beat bacon.  It's the only part of a salad that I will eat, o.k. maybe crutons sometimes.

Crispy bacon  :lick: >>>>>> soggy bacon  :-[

The baconator is pretty good from Wendy's.  It's gotta be healthy since it's from Wendy's and not BK or McD's.  I've had a burger from Good Times that was pretty much neverending crispy bacon--there was more bacon than beef in it.

If something is good...it's better with bacon. Period.
This works for cheese as well.

a couple of thoughts so far. One...the lack of pepper bacon mentions leaves me to believe that most of you guys haven't had it. go get some. you're welcome. Two...back in the day i used to order a blt from hibachi and tell them double the b and minus the t. they'd actually do it sometimes. Three... i guess i've prob had more than six slices but not sure how many. OT: my taco record was 10 tacos from taco hut.

Not a fan

not a fan or pepperbacon or just bacon in general? have you ever actually had either/both of these. i've found that sometimes people just assume they don't like something when they've never actually tried it.... ex.- sweet potatoes, broccoli, dog food, making out w/ other guys, etc.

My first experience with pepper bacon was working at Arby's. They let it sit in a container all day and serve it room temp (unless you get it on a sub, then it's microwaved). So not that great. But my grandma makes pepper bacon and its pretty good fresh.

Also I like soggy better than crispy. Crispy is ok as long as it isn't super crispy.

The best way to use pepper bacon is in a dish where need to spice some other kind of meat that you can cook with it.  Wrapping duck meat in pepper bacon with some capers and cilantro is excellent on the grill.   You can also do a light olive oil and vinegar marinade with it and it cook it on a very hot grill.

I also like to use it on scallops and large prawns.

Good stuff.
