At this point we're going to lose every game left on the schedule.  I'd rather lose with Freeman than lose with Meier.  At least if Freeman continues to blow goats QB recruits will realize that they have a shot at starting whereas if he rides the pine he remains the heir apparent and we'll blow next season finding out how much he sucks.

We can still win 8 games.

It just might take us a couple of years to get that many.

This sounds like Republican spin on the Iraq War.  I say cut and run.

    The very best.
3 picks in one half. Freeman should not play.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Does anyone else feel like if Freeman comes in when we are behind it means we are giving up?

Starting him after this performance certainly feels like we're giving up on the season, that's for sure.

To me, starting him is our only chance at a bwl game.  Continuing to throw Dylan out there is giving up, IMO.

I only listened to the game, didn't actually see how he played.  But the stats and how it sounded sure are not good.  What possible reason could you have to think he'll lead us to a bowl?  Meier might or even probably will not, but Freeman is sucking beyond belief at the moment.

    This ZERO is my Hero
i can see why Prince didn't want to waste a redshirt on Freeman, that would have been plain stupid to leave talent like that on the bench to mature.

i have to think Evridge would have been better this year after a year under his belt, remember how much Snyder loved Allan?

Hopefully, josh will work through the growing pains this year and be ready to take a step forward next year

WTF?  Freeman = Kerry Meier.

Barmaan is probably better than Dylan but they are both are best chances to win.  I think they've proven this.

Freeman has more potential, but just like Kerry throws TONS of interceptions.  Why are Dylan's numbers so unacceptable, but Golden Boy pick-a-thon ok?  Why not put in someone who can at least retain possession for the posibility of a first down, a drive and maybe by the ku game an offensive TD?

Dylan has done NOTHING to prove we have a better chance of winning with him.  At least Freeman has proven to have big play potential...two of his completions were our two longest of the year.

With Dylan, you have no chance to score, but you don't turn it over until you get into the redzone.

With Soul Glo, you have a chance to score, but you run the risk of turning it over before you get into the redzone.

I'm willing to take my chances with Freeman.

terrible analysis.

Freeman may show flashes of brilliance, but the games but running him out there to turn the ball over 5-6 times a game is the antithesis of winning.  I would submit to you, it is impossible to win games with this team turning the ball over 5-6 times a game.

With Dylan it is highly improbable that we will win the game, but not impossible.  With Freeman it is IMPOSSIBLE.

I see your point...we'll just have to agree to disagree.

You think we're more likely to win scoring 3 points with 2 or 3 turnovers...I think we're more likely to win scoring 14 with 4 or 5 turnovers.

Also, Freeman's decision making will improve as the season goes on...that's much more likely than Meier's arm getting stronger.  It's still kind of the same thing as before...Meier *might* give us a better chance to win against Oklahoma State....but Freeman will give us a better chance to win against CU and ku once he gains experience.

I stand by my earlier comment: we're either going to lose one season to this debacle or two and no matter who starts or plays at QB we're unlikely to win another game this year.  If Freeman is a lost cause let's throw this season away discovering that fact rather than throwing this season away on a washed-up has-been who started out as a piss-poor QB then throwing next season away discovering that Freeman isn't the second coming of Chad May.

You guys may be right.  The quicker we get experience for the young guys, the better they will be in the future.

I mean, just look at what it has done for the Kansas City Royals.

Unfortunately the Royals scored more points this weekend than the 'Cats.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

But we aren't going to send all of our players to Wisconsin or San Diego State just before the prime of their careers like the Royals ... oh wait.  :(
