Kansas City is home to two of the worst professional sports teams in history.

Worst teams check list:

A baseball team that can't put together a solid team since the USSR was still going strong - Check
An owner that doesn't give a f*ck as long as he cuts some profit - check

A football team that makes the playoffs one out of 5 years and still loses the first game every time - check
An FP president for 2 decades (that retired finally) - check
In non playoff years they win a maximum of 8 games - check

Feel free to add on people...

“I hate making excuses,” he said. “If I suck, then I suck. And I suck. That’s the way I’m playing. If you suck, you suck. You have to take responsibility in this game. Right now, that’s the way I feel.

“Yes, I suck.”

“I’m embarrassed by the money that I making,” Guillen said, “and playing the way I’ve been playing. I’ll swear that on my kids’ (lives). I feel very embarrassed.

Sometimes, I feel I should take money out of my own pocket and buy tickets for every fan. Because you know what? For a $12 million man, these are not the numbers you should be expecting. I admit it. I’m not playing to my potential.”

I love it when athletes say this because they know they're never gonna do it

these games all go the same, hang in there till about the 5th or 6th, go down one run, make a little threat on offense only to show we have no situational hitting, then give up 2-3 runs in 7-9th innings

This is absolutely unheard of to have ZERO trades pan out.  Coco Crisp (out for the season), Jacobs (not hitting for power or hitting at all really), Farnsworth (DL), Wright (struggles), Cruz (throwing bp), Waechter (dl), Bloomquist (doing ok), Yuni (kidding me), I am so stunned that I can't even think of anymore people.  Feel free to add on.  I am astonished at how horrible this team is.  Don't hit, throw, catch, run, take extra bases, and certainly dont score well.  Missing cutoffs, getting forced out at the plate from right field, getting thrown out on weak pop ups in back to back innings, and no situational hitting.  Yeah thanks Hillman for really working on the fundamentals and that preseason workout really did a lot for this team.  Front office doesnt care so I guess I don't either.   :curse:

Whew!!! that felt good.

Edit: And just when you think that the grave is as deep as it can get, it only gets deeper.

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
It's starting to look a lot like Buddy Bell ball to me... If the front office see's no reason to move anyone then something needs to be done with Dayton Moore... obviously he is just as stupid as the previous GM...

How do the Royals do it?  :notworthy: Year in and year out it's the same thing. This team needs a coach that will kick them in the balls and tell them to toughen up. Every player on the team takes on the personality of the coach... boring methodical thinks everything will be ok attitude. At least Guillen had the balls to say to the media that he flat out sucks... wish Hillman and the rest of the team would do that same and admit they have disappointed KC fans once again...

It is like I am in the movie "Groundhog Day" I keep on reliving the same day over & over again with the bullpen blowing the lead.

It is time for the Royals to start moving people, here is a list of players that the Royals should keep (IMO):

Zack Greinke
Joakim Soria
Brian Bannister
Luke Hochevar
Alex Gordon
Alberto Callaspo (needs to work on his D in the off-season)
David DeJesus
Willie Bloomquist (Bench)

I like Teahen but if you can get some good prospects for him might as well trade him. I would trade Billy Butler while his stock is pretty high (again IMO). I don't see Butler ever hitting more than 20 HRs in a season.

I would consider moving Gordon instead of Teabags if the price is right...

No.  Teahan is a definite trade.  Get what you can if his value is right.  He's no more than a utility man.  So you have to trade either him or Bloomquist (or both).

How how have we not aquired another arm.

We've had a lot of arms over the last couple years.  Moore got lucky decimating the pen last year and was able to rebuild.  He thought he could pull the trick again this year by trading Nunez and Ramirez for Crisp and Jacobs.  Nunez is having a decent season and Ramirez is having a very good middle relief season.  Crisp was decent, but we only got him for 2 months.  Jacobs flat out blows.

Mahay hasn't been the same since the trade deadline last year, when we could have gotten something out of him.  Then try and patch the holes with crap vets like Wright, Cruz, and Ponson.  Hillman loves Bale for some reason, despite the fact that on the rare occaision that he's healthy, he blows.

Combine that with the fact that Hillman refuses to use Soria before the 9th, unless we've already loaded the bases and let the game get tied.  Hello!!!! Dumbass!!! How about we not let the game get tied in the first place. :curse: :curse:

Greinke: keep
Soria:  Keep if you can build enough around him.  But as it sits now, he's one of the most valuable pieces on the team and he rarely plays.
Bannister: Tradeable, but I say keep. A true innings eater--not the Ponson kind--one that actually can pitch.  Plus, I think he'll have some value teaching younger players.
Hochevar: Keep
Gordon: Trade.  I have a feeling he's going the way of that other 'sker, bill callahan.  Lots of hype, no production.  Flip him while he still has a little value.
Callaspo: I'd like to keep, but you have to build solid D at every other position to cover for his inadequacy in the field.  Can't have mediocre at every other position.
Dejesus and Teahen: Trade.  Teahen's value is about as good as its going to get with his versatility and decent, but not great, hitting. Dejesus really isn't that good.  Average in the field, no speed, no power, a slap hitting .300 hitter at best.  Not what you need in a corner OF.  Would be better suited as a 4th OF.
Bloomquist: Tradeable, but I'd like to keep.  Although he might be more valuable right now than ever with him producing at career high levels in BA and SB plus versatility.
Probably can't get anything for guys like Guillen and Jacobs, but they should both be gone.
Meche, if he weren't on the DL, would be tradeable, but we'd probably have to eat some salary.
Hillman: Trade him to the T-Bones for a couple of hot dogs and a mr. pibb (not worth a Dr. Pepper).

LOL . . . you know its a momentous plunge, when the Royals had me conned back at the start of the season into thinking they may actually keep things interesting.

20 games below .500, 9 straight losses . . . they're a pathetic organization on every level, and anyone that supports them is a fool.  They don't deserve the support they get.

I mentioned to a friend that I would like to at least be able to think about moving back to KC some day, but it's still a few years away, and he said, "Don't worry, the Royals and the Chiefs will still suck."
