Yeah probably tough to tell what Rodriguez saw but I think to show Pena up like he did after just 1 pitch was just stupid.

A couple thoughts...

I'm kinda worried about Gil...this year everytime anybody has played through anything, they have ended up on the disabled list: Gordon, Crisp, Soria, Aviles... Not good.

Anyone else hear the Teahen rumors?...apparently he is on the trading block again.

Gil says he's ready to go tomorrow. I think they should sit him. I'd rather him miss one start in early July than miss extended time in July/August.

The Phillies are also interested in Gil and Brian Bannister.

I think we need to unload Teahen AFTER the all star break... Gordan will be back by then. Also I am not a fan of dealing Meche yet... we need someone that can step up next to Greinke and no one else in this rotation can do it...

While I agree with this, we can't get rid of Teahen now. He's one of our best hitters. When he gets back, we can put him 2b and move Bert to short or put him in the outfield. According to Ken Rosenthal, it doesn't look like the Royals will move many players.

The Royals also could look to move bullpen arms, but one GM who has spoken with them recently came away with the impression that they are under pressure to win as many games as possible.

Ok so since this season is over and it looks like we will need a whole new lineup for next year to make up for our crapty ass offense... What changes would YOU make to this team... from front office to the players name everything you would change.

I would be very active in free agency obviously.  Must get a solid shortstop, one that can hit over .250 and has pop.  I would move Jose, probably to get the shortstop.  Teahen is moveable also.  Need middle relief in a bad way.  Should be in good shape with young talent coming up also.

Tonights game is the epitome of the Royals season. Can't get a big hit when they need it(thanks TPJ and Jose). And our defense is horrible(Butler).
