This is depressing, KC is headed back down the division ladder. I took a chance with Hochevar on one of my fantasy teams, boy was that a mistake. 36.00 ERA in 2 innings of work, guess those AAA stats were a fluke.

They are what they are, and that is AAA stats.
Hooch should change the official spelling of his name. Maybe add an "i" or something.

MLB is a marathon, not a sprint!*
Quote from: ksu_FAN on May 13, 2009, 08:35:52 AMMLB is a marathon, not a sprint!* I am not worried about the amount of runs that we gave up last night. What worries me is we have scored 7 runs in the last 4 games...
We were 18-11...it was bound to equalize to around .500.Not worried.

Or when they lead late. Or have Soria hurt for long. Or have Hooch suck. But probably hoping for the division champ is a bit much. I suppose .500 is a solid goal for this team.
Feel sorry for you youngsters . . . I remember when the Royals would finish 30-40 games above .500.1977 102-60

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the Royals are supposed to be on the MLB network for the nation to see and instead at the last minute they show a Yankees game.
The Royals . . . proving once again you can't smalltime your way to the top of MLB.
