    Catch it!
Meche wasn't good but it is a solid win!

he wasn't that bad, a few throwing errors hurt him, if thats his worst game he might fight Zack for the Cy in the end

Meche wasnt really throwing first pitch strikes and when you are on the road that is really important.  Watch greinke and I guarentee you that he will throw 70 percent first pitch strikes.  Meche has under performed for his contract, I think.

what was there 2 errors? and he gave up 4 runs with those 2 E, once again if that is he worst stuff, then &@#% i'll take that for a #2 (he is our #2 no matter where he is in the rotation, its his $$$ that make him #1). contract, yea probably under performing, but hey what is Zito doing these days? market value at the time douche.

Zito just had a quality start today and looked good.  I like Gil but I just think he has under performed.  Guess I forgot on ksufans.com, you cant have an opinion.   :crybaby:

I guess if you understood/cared how important that is to a pitcher you would get what I'm saying.  He just isnt pitching as well as he can, guarentee you ask him he would say the same.

Am really enjoying watching this team.  They just don't quit.  Errors and (mental and physical) were pissing me off today but they never quit playing hard.  No hit through 6 and then they explode!  They are playing with confidence and refusing to lose.

WTF was Hillman thinking not pinch-hitting for tpj late in the game.

Still, nice win.

???  Who else was left on the bench to take over at short?

Teahan to 3rd, Callaspo to 2nd, Bloomquist in at short.

Think about if an NL manager made a double switch and 2 innings later the pitcher he put in is up with the go ahead run on second and he didn't pinch hit for him? That's basically what he did.

Is there any way the Royals could pitch him every day?

As if the news wasn't good enough.....

Luke Hochevar is 5-0 with a 1.13 ERA in the minors. He has a 2.1:1 K:BB ratio as well! Greinke, Hochevar and Meche.....

I started watching the game in the 4th and couldn't take my eyes off grienke until it was over, I love how he's not afraid to throw inside too, straight up BA

The 2:1 K:BB ratio bothers me.  It won't be that good in the majors - it never is.  I'd prefer something around 4:1 since strike zones seem to be more liberal in the minors.

Royals only down 5-4 after a three run bomb by Jacobs. Too bad Davies is sucking it up tonight.
