1. Pressure Shawn Bell

Bell has completed 66 percent of his passes with seven touchdowns and four interceptions

2. Stay disciplined on defense

No team in the country has totaled more penalty yards (367) then Baylor. The Bears average 91.8 penalty yards per game. Get them into 2nd and 3rd and long situations and it's over for their offense

3. Defense, Defense and (might I say) Defense

The Bears are just 1-19 in games in which they scored fewer than 20 points since the 2003 season

The Mob should have an effective day vs. the Bears offense. Hopefully that will lead to good field position for the offense which should lead to easy points. If we can't move the ball vs. this defense I'm going home and waiting for basketball season.

The Cats should win by at least 2 TD's.

crap.

i was just about to start a thread stating the keys to beating baylor were:

1.  give the qb all day to pass

2.  be undisciplined on defense

3.  equipment manager, equipment manager, equipment manager

1. Pressure Shawn Bell

Bell completed 54% of his passes which is down from the 66% he normally completes but that's still way too accurate

2. Stay disciplined on defense

Penalties were an issue. We had more then double the number of penalties that Baylor had. The Cats had been doing well at not getting penalized. Baylor is the team that usually has all the penalties.

3. Defense, Defense and (might I say) Defense

The Bears are just 1-19 in games in which they scored fewer than 20 points since the 2003 season. Make it 2-19 because they only scored 17 this week.

If we can't move the ball vs. this defense I'm going home and waiting for basketball season.

I'm not ready to give up yet but this isn't good. I'll adjust my preseason pick from 8-4 to 7-5 but I'm  :hope:
