I know the Cats have opened Big XII play on the road way too much but the Wildcats are slated to begin the conference portion of their season at home in 2008.

    The very best.
why does it &@#%ing matter if we open big 12 play on the road?

Big deal.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Each of the past seven years, K-State has started Big 12 play away from Manhattan. The past five, it has lost.

That's why it &*$@!ing matters

Why would playing the game later in the season make a difference?

The ignorant masses see that and think, "That's not fair!!! :crybaby:"
I see that and think, "We need to get better."

    It's time to hit it.
I remember seeing something about this on the ESPN board last year when conference play started up, and KSU was the only team to almost never start conference play at home.  Every other team in the league was at 50% or higher.

Texas Tech has only started at home three times.

I understand we'll always play the same amount of games away and on the road, my only question is why we seem to be the only team, or close to the only team, that has to do this on such a consistent basis.  It just seems odd.  But if we can't beat Baylor (even if it is on the road) then whether or not we open Big 12 play next year at home is the least of our worries.

I heard that the conference intentionally made the schedule that way to help offset Snyder's pussy non-conference scheduling.  That's what my inside sources told me.

I got an email from a friend who told me it's because everyone hates KSU and wants us to fail.

Again, consider that OU/UT play a neutral game every year..and it completely &@#%s everything up.
