Kansas lost to Coastal Carolina, A&M is down 9-1 to Oregon State (8th) and Missouri was losing too by 8 or 9 runs.
After the game, ku's coach absolutely trashed his best player. Said he sucks at defense and was not ready for MLB- in an attempt to keep him around.
Seems to be pretty standard op in LAwrence to rip your athletes in the media to prevent them from going pro. Probably cost this kid some pretty good jack.
Glad we have basically the opposite guys in all sports.
I have heard many negative things about that coach since he has been there.
Not as many negative things then he has to say to the media about his own players:

Which may be a good thing for today, as ku tries to stay alive in the NCAA tournament. But next season? Only time will tell.
“I personally hope he comes back because I personally think I could make him a better infielder, if I had another year with him,” Price said.
“He’s made 20 errors at shortstop, and I honestly don’t think he’s ready (for pro baseball), I think he should stay in our program another year. But with what he did last week in the Big 12 (tournament), and what he did today, I’m sure we’ll lose him now.”
