That serves them well for the beat down they handed us Sunday.  Payback is a beeyotch. :bootyshake:
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

very satisfying win, and doing w/o morris makes it that much better.  we have a real shot at this thing now.  hopefully the team is well focused and got whatever was holding them down the last few weeks out of their system.

Not to mention Baylor is up 13-9 over Texas in the top of the 8th.

Playing Baylor tomorrow with Morris would be amazing.

Texas never takes this tournament very seriously. Beating Baylor will be tougher than Texas IMO.

Baylor beating Tejas is big for us.  It will certainly help to win the pool.    :base1:

They were very lucky to get out of their pool last year. Aggie was slumping and Missouri shot themselves in the foot. Texas was really lucky to get past OU too in a close one. They played pretty well against you all last year but I think K-State ran out of pitching making their run in the tournament last year.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Horns conference tourney championship last year. However, Augie has always downplayed the significance of it and they have rarely advance to the CG despite being the best team in the league for the most part the last decade or so.

God, how great would it be to not even try in the Big 12 tourney.  Such a cocky/elite feeling I bet :gocho:

14-9 final.  Baylor wins over Tejas.

Mizzou/A&M starting any minute now.

OU/Tech tonight at 7.

Heres what it looks like to me, but somebody who knows what they are talking about should verify this.  The cats will win thier pool if one of the following occurs:

1.  2 KSU wins.
2.  KSU beats BU and ku beats UT. (based on head to head tiebreakers over BU or ku)
3.  KSU beats UT and ku beats UT and ku beats BU. (based on 2nd tie breaker being the higher seeded team)

I no longer see rivals as a credible source.
He's not the fastest guy in the BIG XII he's the fastest guy in the country.

This has changed like every day, I don't see where this is a good basis to see where kstate will be playing.

Brad Hill said in his press conference that AJ Morris is pitching against Baylor tomorrow night.

BIG mistake.  Let pitch against Texas!  This may prove very, very costly.

It sounds like Baylor is throwing Kendall Volz so K-State will need to throw AJ. Baylor is on the bubble and they really need this game, they'll be much tougher to beat than Texas.

Baylor saying they are pitching Aaron Miller, not Volz.

Yeah, that stadium looks awful.

4 Innings, 5 hits, 1 run in Austin in late April.

Not eye popping, but not awful either.  Hopefully he can go at least five innings and keep the game close.

    The very best.
so if we beat bu and ku beats tu, we are in the title game.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Holy crap, you're right.  Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's a good thing Morris is pitching tonight.

Morris was the only one that could shut Baylor down earlier this year.

Then whoever we play in the title game has to beat us twice in order to win it.
