In a statement Thursday on the Covenant School's Web site, the head of school said, "It is shameful and an embarrassment that this happened."
The story deserves the wider distribution of TGtBatM.

Bet you feel like a dipsh*t, since the team that they beat is full of girls with mental disabilities.Beating a team full of trigs 100-0 isn't a very good accomplishment.

the coach got firedhttp://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=904726
Should not have been fired, who cares about a game.My 7th grade YMCA bball team had a 6'5 kid on it and we routinely won games by 70 points, never heard any complaints

There is a level of respect for the other team that needs to be understood. At some point that coach should have realized eating up the clock would be the respectful thing to do. The talent disparity was obviously great and the coach should have realized this and there is no glory in humiliating the other team like that. Its called human decency.
