can i get more data on the Steam Fresh bags?
are you guys eating the meals for two or the vegtables?  what's going on here.

what I had yesterday was frozen and in a plastic bowl w/ wrapping over it. you put it in micro w/ the wrapping intact for five minutes and have steamed veggies. the one i had consted of carrots, asparagus, red pepper, onion, and some kind of peas (maybe even two kinds of peas), possible green beans as well. i don't like most of those but this was pretty good because they had some kind of oil dressing or something on it. that's all i got.
i think i could do that.
maybe i could cook the vegtables so long that they taste good.  will try italian dressing on them, usually works on crap i hate.

I'm more interested in the lunchbox itself.  I mean, who carries a lunchbox?

Are you talking strictly about boxes, or just apparatus to carry a lunch in?

cartoon characters on front?  and damn, life is good at the Daves.

I was always disappointed when my lunchbox when opened made straight line, instead of a rad, slanty line.  that looks like a straight line.

whether it's hard or not is debatable and open to individual interpretation.

also have fun going to the grocery store and getting an 2 ounces of fresh carrots, 2 ounces of fresh green beans, 2 ounces of fresh red peppers, 2 ounces of fresh onion and 2 ounces of fresh peas. once you get it then have fun bringing them back to your place and combining them and steaming them and putting a delicous oil based sauce on them.

meanwhile i'll open my freezer and put the bowl in the microwave.

why not saute (lol @ steam, wtf steams food?) vegetables individually, or in less varied combos?  wtf needs 6, possibly 7, vegetables combo'd in one dish?

steaming is better.  vegs lose less nutrients.  you know this sys, don't toy with me.

I've never once steamed anything that didn't come in a bag that said "steamfresh" on it.  Little trivia there for those who are into that kind of thing.

Why not just buy a big tub of dip with your vegs, then you don't have to steam or saute or any stuff like that. Just use enough dip on every bite so that it covers up the veg taste.  Also you don't lose nutrients, and in fact gain dip nutrients.

I think this is bullet proof.

Those larabars come from boulder.  Got some free samples once, and they are nearly, but not quite edible.

what if the big tub of dip is ranch flavored? Not so bullet proof now are we?

In regards to some of the earlier stuff....veggies suck and I would be more likely to eat an ounce or two of many sucky veggies thrown together than I would be to eat 10 or 12 ounces of one sucky veggie in the same setting. grocery stores don't really sell you like six green beans or 1/16 of a green pepper do they?
