Yeah that bars closing at 1 thing makes people get really sh(tfaced in a hurry before they get kicked out.  Had one of my drunkest nights ever in Lincoln.

You got me lusting for a Runza now.  There's one about 45 minutes from here.

Pretty useless report without any mention of their fountain/bottle soda situation.     :lick:   Inquiring minds want to know....

Was somewhat addressed above.  Got a bottle of water.  Didn't even check.  Terrible oversight on my part.

additional notes...

sodas were available in both bottle and fountain format

only one size pcorn was available. good pcorn though...just not enough. hopefully someone from devaney centers reads this and does something about it.

runzas were available as were valentinos pizza. nebraskans love their runzas.

town was dead before game but hopping after. bandwaggoners.

ugly crowd w/ lots of old people.

parking situation around devaney was indeed crappy (not for us though   8-) )

passed through a towny bar where they gave you a card every time you bought a pitcher and when you got five cards you could turn them in for a free pitcher. big wtf here.

second big wtf of the night of was walking into an awards dinner for a woman's roller derby team. nice nebraska. nice.

bars close at one.

oh, no coast derby girls, was the bar iguanas?   they did a toten chit thing for a while.

yeah, pretty sure it was iguanas. decent bar I thought. also had really, really, good mexican food around 1:00 am at some place close to the aforementioned iguana bar.
