    The very best.
we lose beasley and walker off a team that went just 10-6 in the league, we don't recruit ANYONE and everyone expects the team to be in contention, and better than teams like Mizzou, ISU, NU and CU. Why? Do you not realize those teams also try? We aren't talented. Get that out of your head now. A team that has had three coaching changes in four years is not going to have a talented, experienced and balanced roster. Mostly at a place like KSU.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    Anti-government
I am guessing the anger comes from the fact that Huggins got a team of Wooly players to also go 10-6

I thought it probable we would lose today.  But to play this dumb and get run out of Devaney is inexcusable.

We aren't very talented but we are more talented than Nebraska's midgets and we are getting out clocked cleaned. wtf?

    Hey, basketball!!!
Even more ouch. A 2007 KSU vs. NU football game mention. :blindfold:

And of course you're going to suck when you have a kid starting for you that was offered by only us and the Special Olympics coming out of high school, and gladly accepted our scholie offer. *Cough* Kent *Cough*

Not to mention Merriweather is playing just about as much as Samuels. :curse:

huggins 06-07 team was full of upperclassmen. hoskins and martin were way better than anyone on this trash team.

meh. whatever. we would have melted down even had we lost by 7 or so. my point is it's hilarious how easy these ksu fans thought it would be.

agreed... but please tell me how we can have higher expectations for next years team than we did for last years (considering it was 10-6)... judge/macgruder/henriquez/russell are certainly no better than beasley/walker/pullen/etc...

I agree. Have you read my posts? People expecting 09-10 to be better than 07-08 are dumb.

The most talent of what in the last 20 years????   We got like maybe 2 or 3 scorers on our team and they are never on the court at the same time.  We are getting destroyed by an average Nebraska team that is playing fundamental basketball on offense.  While we stand around on offense and wait for someone to shoot..  Come on Frank...get an offense...Please!!!!

I get what you are saying fat. I never expected us to be great.  I figured we'd have our struggles.  What I didn't expect was for us to look utterly lost out there.  I'm sick of hearing myself bash Frank but we look like we don't even have a coach out there.

Meh, we've been laying eggs against NU for years, hopefully we will rebound from this.  I just wanna see this team improve as the season goes on.  NIT would be gravy.

well, every team will look "utterly lost" sometimes.

two years ago we lost @ ku and @ nu and to tech at home
last year we lost @ ku and @ nu and to texas at home

I realize this year they have been by a bigger margin, but the people who just expected we'd win games this year because we made the NCAA's last year deserve the misery they endure.

Kent provided some of the few bright spots in this game.  He's not good, but he's not a good scapegoat right now either.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
nice thread fats.

We have two top 100 players on the roster.  (one never plays (:dunno:)).

Just hang on for the NIT, which is all anyone non-retarded hoped for this season.

great thread trips.

don't see how it is rational to expect an nit.  wooly never made the nit with far better and deeper teams.  and the nit is smaller now.

Nobody though this team would be good. Nearly everyone expected a very average team to finish around 7-8th in the Big 12. Please post where you thought this KSU team would win 0 conference games. tia.
