If your dentist ever says you need these in combo, you're screwed.

The procedures themselves aren't so bad, but your mouth swells and is sore as hell afterwards.

I type this as I hold an ice pack up to my face.

    shame on you, non-believers
I had a double root canal, and the numbing shot stuff didn't take in one of the teeth, so I went it au natural. It freakin sucked balls.

And yes, the aftermath is less than fun as well.

Oh, man...that would suck hard-core.  I was fortunate in that my dentist did such a good job of numbing me that the only painful part during the procedure was the first two numbing shots.

Now that that stuff's starting to wear off, though, I'm starting to feel where they sliced my gum open and cleaned out the tissue next to my tooth.   :yuck:

I feel for you man. That was not a fun time in my life. Never get two of your front teeth broken in half by a raquet during raquetball. You will regret it.

Hey!  It didn't work so well a year ago, so they had to go back in today and do some more surgery.

Drawback:  sore mouth.

Benefit:  I'm going to be doing nothing over the next couple of days but laying around watching basketball while high on hydrocodone.
