Won tonight 72-39 and is now 14-0. They sent a message tonight that there record is no fluke... ku was 11-2 on the season before tonight with some pretty good wins but was no match for K-State's very tough defense...

Nate Bukaty and David Lawrence did the radio broadcast for ku.  Some comments:

David Lawrence midway through the second half: "No way is K-State 20 points better than ku."  In a way, he was correct since KSU won by 33.

Nate Bukaty in the final seconds: "KSU attempts a shot with 5 seconds left.  5 seconds!  You know David, Coach Hendrickson will be reminding her team after the game of that shot attempt.  These two teams meet again in only two weeks, and the jayhawks will remember that shot."

 

They also mentioned that "the KSU men lost on this same floor to Oklahoma earlier today" 4-5 times in the second half.

If we played ku in dwarf tossing, I'd want to run them out of the gym in too, that so this is a nice win.

We are now #17 moving from #20.  Our schedule is a bit weaker, but all other undefeateds are #7 or better.

The only thing really kind of funny about this, is the fact that Bonnie has been Lew's only real hire at ku, and all she has done is bring up the bottom of the conference.   They're paying a lot of money for 11th place over there.
