Horton is Holton's ugly step sister (if posssible...LOL). Located smack dab in between Holton and Hiawatha. Just you average small, crappy, dying Kansas town.

I had forgotten what it looked like.  Thanks for the reminder.  Some good memories there.  GC Rocks!
Beer - 40$
Snacks - 15$
Watching KSU kick the crap out of #1 OU 35 -7, and watching as your OU Friends sat farther and farther away from the TV, eventually leaving the watch party early.
PRICELESS!

:bs:GMAB, you never went to the pool  I never went past the 9th grade after I figured out that it actually wasn't the best place to look for girls.  Awesome place to swim in piss though.

I probably went there about 50 times.  (Birth - 6th Grade)  Wasn't really worth it until you could swim the length.  I love that you had to earn your way into the "Deep" end.  High Dive was fun!  Floating Baby Ruth bars....not so much.

Never made the deep end, they wouldn't even let you sit poolside at the deep end if you couldn't swim the length and of course that's where the hottest lifeguards always were. :curse:  Lets meet back and cruise the park on Sunday.

Good Point about the PPM of the Pee.  I remember at the end of the swimming season they let the Elephants from the zoo bathe in the pool before draining.  Looked like they had fun.

A (very) few bright spots aside the whole state of Kansas is really pretty sad.  Only lifers don't recognize this fact.

Right, until they move to a coast and are shelling out $600,000 for a craphole.

Kansas is pretty okay then.

Ah. I thought you might be from there. My wife grew up in Jetmore. I've never been there but her description of the town is similar to yours.
