After severing their relationship with head coach Mike Shanahan that spanned more than two decades, the Denver Broncos are moving quickly to find his replacement.
Two league sources said the Broncos have asked for permission to speak with New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
An NFL source close to the situation also confirmed Denver has asked and received permission to speak to New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and Tampa Bay secondary coach Raheem Morris. Both of those interviews are expected to be held in the coming days.

Technically, Raheem is the DC for the Bucs, although he hasn't coached a game at that position yet.
Tattooed all I see.  All that I am. All I'll be.

Good for Raheem.  He gets to be Denver's token minority interview candidate.

Sometimes those guys dazzle the dudes interviewing them and get jobs they are not remotely qualified for.

Very rarely is someone enough of a turnip to fall for some dazzling interview with no substance or qualifications.  VERY RARELY.

Here's how I would like to see that interview play out.

Raheem Morris should get hired to coach the Broncos.  Then he should hire Ron Prince as O line coach.  Then Raheem needs to get Ron in the locker room in front of the team, call him a fracking pussy, kick his ass and fire him.

I liked Raheem...I don't know if he's ready to be HC, but he will be a good one when he is. Regardless if they are actually serious in hiring him or not, the interview will prepare him for future interviews.

Isn't there a rule where you have to interview a minority?  He's probably gonna be the token minority interviewee for a bit just cause those old rich white oil tycoons with their huge hats and pipe dont get in trouble.
Recruiting is just a big tease.

Wow, thanks for that!  Probably would have never been discussed in this thread without your suggestion.
