I've always drank pretty fast and it rarely gets warm.   Also, I don't drink diet... Diet Dr. Pepper is the only thing I'll tollerate and it's a rare situation where I'll drink DDP.   I would understand ice if it was really hot outside and I got like a 60 ounce drink...   but 32 ounces and under I usually drink within 10 minutes... never gets too warm.

The one they have now is good, for a diet pop.  I don't love any diet pop, but they don't make me gag, either.  The old DDP had the most bitter, putrid flavor.  Not really sure how anyone drank it.  Its the reason why they had the slogan "now tastes more like regular Dr Pepper" until a couple years ago.

If I'm not mistaken, it was saccharin but because of some of the flavorings, it made for a horrible taste.

I had tried it but immediately went to diet coke.  I was a little skiddish about trying the new formula.   When I found out QT had it as a fountain drink, I pretty much make about three trips a day.
