Who ya got?

Terry Bradway - New York Jets (He's a HCHE guy. Hire him and we'll probably keep HCHE)
Greg Gabriel - Chicago Bears (Knows what he's doing when it comes to drafting college talent)
Steve Keim - Arizona Cardinals (Another potential "star" if given a chance)
Reggie McKenzie - Green Bay Packers (Responsible for making Green Bay "Title Town")
Randy Mueller - San Diego Chargers (Has GM experience)
Scott Pioli - New England Patriots (Has built a dynasty in New England)
Floyd Reese - Currently working for ESPN (Probably the most experienced candidate)
Ted Sundquist - Former Denver Broncos GM (Obviously knows his way around the AFC West)
Steve Keim - Director of Player Personnel with the Arizona Cardinals

I love the smell of peat in the evening.  That smell, you know that earthy smell...  Smells like...whisky !

Chiefs fan.  Don't give a frack who the GM is, though.  Possibly the most "who gives a crap" job in all of sports, except ball boy in tennis.

Not really when you consider that they're the ones that bring in the players that go a long way to determining if you're a crap franchise or not. Try learning sports before you post on a message board, okay junior?

Quick!  Who's the GM of the New York Giants, who won the Super Bowl last year?  You can't answer that without looking it up.

Stop being an idiot.  The Chiefs will always suck, no matter who is the GM or coach.

I actually heard that on Monday. It's an intriguing possibility. Whitlock endorses Scott Pioli in today's KC Star. Makes a compelling case that he could bring Bill Cowher with him. That would be the best scenario.

Far from it.

Matt Millen(fired, but these are his players), Carl Peterson - horrible GMs, horrible teams

It's apparent that your use of the word "suck" is similar in use to the way most of us on this board refer to ku.  This definition is entirely separated from the win/loss record type of suckage.

And Jerry Reese is the Giants GM, but he has been for only a relatively short time.

I'm a Chiefs fan and even I know that they will always suck.  Even in a season that they have a winning record, they will blow it.  Just kinda how it goes.

You're still using the ku definition.

Chiefs should change their names to the Royals.  Indians will stop complaining, and you can compete with them to see who has a better Win % every year.

(BTW, I like the Royals, but lol at the Chiefs)

And yes, I know Denver isn't winning tonight.  Doesn't make KC any better.

I was able to listen to the game on the way home from Colorado today and they were mentioning Marty. Are they talking GM, coach or both? I know times are tough for the Chiefs right now but if the Dolphins can recover from 1-15 in one year and win the division and if the Falcons can recover from 4-12 and what they've had to deal with in one year to make the playoffs I have hope for the Chiefs. Am I expecting playoffs next season? No but they can surely add a few victories from 2-14. Respectability would be nice.

Bill Parcells might leave the Dolphins if they're sold. He needs to be hired in Kansas City no later than 45 seconds after an announcement is made.

Scott Pioli apparently favors Iowa's Kirk Ferentz as a coaching candidate so that might temper your excitement about the possibility of bringing him to KC.

The ESPN guys were on after the Outback Bowl talking about how it's time for Ferentz to go back to the NFL. I didn't realize that he had NFL experience so maybe since he does I wouldn't be so against it if he wanted to come to KC.

Bill Cowher

:hope:

Yes. Or Shannahan.

You guys didn't hear Pat Bowlen's press conference.  He basically said Shanahan isn't allowed to go to KC.

LMFAO

I think he wants a team that might be able to make a superbowl run in the next 15 years.
