Yeah, that's why they always refer to the SB as "the big game" or the "NFL Championship Game" in commercials.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
I think it's total crap that whoever "coined" the terms or copyrighted the words feel they should profit from such a thing.  I know that I've put three or more words together in such a way that warrant repeating (You can't shine a turd), but don't think I'm deserving of renumeration.

Didn't Snyder "gift" the Powercat logo to the university for $1 or something?

Super Bowl was Lamar Hunt's idea, but I think NFL properties snatched it up.

I remember when Pat Riley coined "three-peat" and tried to copyright it.

Whoever coined the SLTH acronym and the true meaning of it was brilliant IMO.  Makes the phrase "Super Bowl" seem like baby talk in comparison.
