MU basketball absolutely owns ku's now defunct program.  How and why Masta Bill Seff was allowed to run the program as far down as he has is a slap in the face to the NCAA and all collegiate sports.  Seriously, the Jayhawks are just one more recruiting whiff away from being the Colorado of Kansas.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

    The very best.
what does a defunct bowl game and the ku basketball program have in common?

They are both defunct.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I hope ku does improve though.  A weak Big 12 North ill-prepares us for the tourny, imo.

right now ku is playing mid-major basketball, but that won't always be the case.  once the twins understand their roles better this ku team could challenge for the NIT bid. really though, the program is struggling the same way a lot of "has been" programs struggle.  remember when we hired Ron Prince in football?

BRushes Fr year? also too lazy to check.

When was the last time they lost to a team with a 0.250 winning %?  One thing to lose to 'Cuse, another to lose at home to a team that was beat by a 1-7 Toledo team.

They'll get in on name recognition alone. That and a poor Big 12 conference.
