    The very best.
great job players(minus kent)/fans/coaches.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Any idea what website streams the radio call?  Freaking Wichita only has it on an AM station, and a sucky AM station at that.

Werner misses two free throws to remain the only scoreless member of the katz.

Damn! OU only beat these guys by four?

From GW HC Rick Scruggs:

Quote
We have played some tough competition this year, playing Oklahoma to a four-point game and Virginia Tech to a three-point game. South Carolina beat us by 15 but it was really a closer game than the score showed, it was a five point game with five minutes left to go in the game but we just couldn’t hold them down. This is by far the strongest team we have seen this year from top to bottom.

I wish we could have played better and the way we played at Oklahoma and Virginia Tech because maybe it would have been a 30 point loss instead of a 50 point loss, or whatever it was.

Blake Griffin makes Oklahoma so good; if you take him off I wonder how good they would be. I don’t think that is the case with K-State. They can run three players in and take three players out and you wouldn’t be able to tell any difference except for their jersey number in terms of the how the flow of the game goes. The level of play doesn’t drop off, the pressure continues. They play with a sense of urgency that most teams don’t play with.
Ladies & gentlemen, I present: The Problem

wth can't we play like this against decent competition? We have these cupcake games down pat and then we choke against any other high major team. It's weird. Maybe we are just a home court team where the crowd really helps our guys.
Show me defense.

I went to the game, there were quite a few Gardner Webb fans there, but then we realized they were there to root on GWU's starting PG, #23. He is from Lenexa, KS.  He had 4 fouls, a bunch of turnovers, 0 points.   :fatty:

This is what I hate about K-State Basketball, we can never recruit good local talent.  Frank needs to get his crap in order.

I really was rooting for him to score though, we were sitting behind his grandparents who seemed pretty nice.  Also gave them one of the Gardner Webb media guides that all the teams bring to the games for press and whatnot, they enjoyed it thoroughly.  Probably all emaws now.

I saw that kid on Louis, couldn't believe they didn't give him the ball. Obviously we were shooting well tonight, but really the last couple of games we have actually looked like we had a clue as to what we are wanting to do on offense...nice to see.

Understand what you are saying, but this was Gardner Webb the ultimate SNOWCOAT if we would have used all our moves we would have won by 80+. That's not fair.

Can't say I appreciate this wording. Perhaps you meant to point out their point guard trying to box Lou out. Thanks.
