I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts on this.

Hypothetical: 2005 K-State team takes on this Louisville squad the fourth game into the season, what would the score of the game been and why would there be a difference?  We now know what this year's team has done, how would it be different if it was the 2005 team out there this afternoon?

I have my own thoughts, but first I am curious as to everyone else's.

It's good to be good again!
Louisville would of put put up a lot more than 24 pts vs our 2005 defence.  Last years 3 man rush sit on your heels crap would of been destroyed.  I'm guessing they would have easily put up 45 on us.

The offensive side of the ball is a much harder question.  A Webb\Everidge running attack may have been slightly more effective but I don't think by much.  I guessing we might of put 14 on them.

Louisville would have put up at least 40 on our D last year.

Probably more.

    The very best.
Our pussy ass 2005 did not play a team half as good as Louisville all year long.

44-10
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'm pretty much agreeing...something in the neighborhood of 45-17.

52-13

Last years problems with the fundamentals, like tackling, would have led to numerous big plays.  The lack of speed on the D-Line would have been a killer too.

Yeah, 50 points wouldn't have suprised me at all with last year's defense.

Ohh yeah, and I forgot to mention 2005 couldn't have forced a turnover if they tried.  Not that they ever did... ;)

2005's D had 8 interceptions all year.  So far, we have 5.

Also, at the current rate, KSU will match 2005's sack total by game 7.
