Slightly touchy but honest question Post Rating (1 vote)
I just finished watching the Memphis-Georgetown game and I started wondering about something. Have any of these teams ever had a white player play significant minutes? I've been a basketball fan now almost 18 years, and I can't remember there being too many white benchwarmers on these two teams.

Of course they do, but no white kids want to spend all their time with the black kids that Self recruits.....they aren't exactly Grant Hill and Tommy Amaker.  Self loves the thugs.  The good white kids don't want to go get bitch slapped around for four years.

Also, who can?  That's like picking up aldrich over beasley, african americans are more athletic, and usually better at basketball.  For each white guy in college, there is a black guy at his position that is better than him.
