How are you defining "pop"?

Should be based on billboard singles charts IMO.

QFT.  Gwen Stefani =   :jeffy:

Timberlake's SexyBack, My Love, or even Dick in a Box should be given some love as well.

meh, yeah good point.

I didn't go too deep in to the B-sides did I?

Was not trying to be cool.  Sigur Ros was HUGE in Euro, so I counted them (cheapskis).

Any others that are dq'd that way?  Maybe Winehouse should be Rehab instead of Back to Black?

I almost think it should be top 10.  Not sure.  Would cut out a lot of riff-raff.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

It is hard after the first two:

1) Crazy
2) Hey Ya!

really no others in the galaxy.

Maybe like this:

99 Problems deserves on there (or another Jay-Z song)
Big Pimpin maybe?

Seven Nation Army has incredible staying power and is an arena jam for our future

Beautiful is a great song, but easily forgotten summer jam

Get Low was an absolute fist f. V  .ck in public dance jam

Cry me a river is an unbelievably good song that turned Britney into a raving lunatic

For me here is my first draft:

1&2) Crazy and Hey Ya! (interchangeable AMAZING)
3) 7 Nation Army
4) Get Low
5) Big Pimpin

    Fear the Brick
If we're talking new millenium, just some songs that haven't been mentioned:

Bye, Bye, Bye (this was 2000)
In da Club
Gold Digger

mine would be

1) Crazy
2) Paper Planes
3) 99 Problems
4) HollaBack Girl
5) Viva La Vida (shut up, it's a good song)
