Last year this game was a cluster trying to get into any bars because most of the Power and Light district was not done.  This year, with about 10x more bars, and about half the crowd it should be a piece of cake to get a bite and some beers.

Not a cool kid but I'm going to Kites for cheap food and booze before heading down.  I'll probably GTFO after the game and head back to joco for more cheap booze unless Eustachy is planning on throwing a few down with us at McFaddens.

Your timeline makes it tough.  You might try town topic on Broadway.  Hard to eat/drink/be merry in less than an hour.  (you'll want to get to the sprint center door @ 6:45 at least.

Blanc is v. good.

Chef Burger isn't bad, just don't know why you would go eat a burger right before the game.  Burgers take up limited beer room in stomach and slows your Katpaking.  I don't think they serve suds in the game either so, I would recommend skipping any food after lunch time.
