A man that has won multiple NJCAA national championships in football can't be a bad hire at all.. He should have excellent ties to Juco recruits from the top junior colleges in the country.

The guy has been incredible at Butler, I'm sure he receives job offers regularly. Why would he take a job as an offensive line coach? Why not a head job at a smaller program and try to parlay that into a better head job down the road?

I mean, are there really that many former juco HCs at big programs? (honestly, I don't know?)
I don't know either, it just seems like a weird step to take after all of his success at Butler. It seems like, if a guy can go from Youngstown State to OSU, a guy could go from Butler to some sorry D1 team. Maybe not.
His record as coach at Butler is 85-10... That is incredible.

I lost track of him after KSU. He didn't have nearly the success at GCCC as Morrell has had at Butler, and he's managed to move up to a DC position relatively quickly. Maybe that is the best route to take.
