...SON OF A F***ING B*TCH I HAVE EVER SEEN."

- Frank Martin to Jacob Pullen at the end of the game

Awesome.

After rewinding it and watching it again, I think there was another 'f***ing' between 'ever' and 'seen.'

Not to mention a 3 that didn't need to be taken

more like 3 3's that were not good decisions.

While the yelling + cussing doesn't 'look' good, JP has to learn to play for the team and stop feeling sorry form himself.  Frank Martin is exactly right that he was being selfish.

Pullen (and Clemente) will continue to take forced/ill advised shots.  Live with it.  Just have to hope they make them.

I'm guessing Pullen drains absolutley everything in practice....then is a no show on game night.

Streakiest guy since Frank Richards. ;)

The opinions on Pullen (myself included) are really being influenced by a very poor game last night and such a long layoff between games.

His previous 4 games he was averaging nealy 21 points and was 16-36 from three.  Granted, his assist to TO numbers weren't great, but he's playing much more at the 2 this year.

He does need to get the TO numbers down though; he already has 31 TOs in 8 games after having 69 in 33 games last year.  :blindfold:

Not sure he has learned the fine art of coaching yet - not many folk motivated or willing to elevate their effort based on verbal assaults and calling outs on national television.

Frank needs to take a few classes in taste and demeanor.

JMart wrote too many stories about Jacob Pullen earlier in the year.  (I happen to think this is because there's nobody on the team worth writing feature stories about at this point anyway.) Guess it went to his head.

I'm actually fairly impressed with how competitive they have been considering the utter lack of leadership on the floor.

I'm surprised he didn't take a swing at the refs after Denis' charging foul.  And yeah, really surprised he didn't get T'd up for verbally raping the ref, who was like three feet away.

It would have been pretty odd to give a T in that situation.  It's really one of the few times he's really been on the refs.  Refs don't seem to care if you tell your players to f*ck off for some reason.

I just thought that the proximity to the ref, combined with the verbal abuse might warrant a T.  But he didn't leave the box, and he hadn't really been on the refs all that much, so I guess they just let it slide.

ref's sometimes let it slide when they know they made the wrong call.  didn't want to bring more attn to a bad call in crunch time.

True.  It was the right thing to do, I'm just not sure I'm a big enough man to ignore Frank shouting obscenities at me like that ref did.

I just wish we had a point guard on this team.  Our guards are o.k. but they can't make a good pass to save there lives.  When will we learn that throwing the ball from the top of the key to the block is not a good entry pass angle?  We suck at the point possition they have guys who can bring the ball up the court, can score and are fast but they cannot pass. :curse: Or don't want to. :runaway:

Yea NEVER fire Frank Martin!  He beat ku!  :ksu:

Frank Martin beat ku? I could have coached the team and we would have beaten ku. It was the guys on the floor who beat ku and Frank Martin had very little to do with the victory. I don't dislike Frank but I sure as hell am not going to give him all the credit when we win and put all the blame on him when we lose.

Bobby Knight and Coach K are both very unsuccessful.
