    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Maybe I'm crazy, but...to me, it's really, really clear that we offered him the job, had high hopes, were crushed when he backed out after the Fitzasco, and then pretended like we never gave him the time of day to save face.  Really, super clear.

Were there two gunmen on the grassy knoll?  Are UFOs stored at Area 51?  Does the UN have hundreds of thousands of troops in the US just waiting FEMA's order to impose martial law and suspend the Constitution?  Enquiring minds want to know .....

what a complete turd.

We were Gary's only hope of getting out of Ft Worth.  Nobody else wants him.  Nobody.

He does have a hot, younger second wife though, so he has that going for him.
Welcome back, Bill.

Quite a coach who folds over an internet rumor and his wife's whims.  Don't know why he hasn't been grabbed by bigtime BCS program.  Very confusing.

Amazing that you guys don't get it. He loves THE FORT. Simple as that. He's had plety of ops to leave but it doesn't make sence. Great City, Great Team, Great School. Try to be happy for him.

Gary loves the non pressure of the Christmas Flower Bowl and 10,000 empty seats, and DFW's 8th choice for sports.

We blew it.  I have a buddy in Western Kansas who knows Patterson's brother.  His brother said he wanted to come to KSU but didn't want to talk about it until after the season was completed.  Not sure whom was to blame, but when word got out you saw what happened.  From what his brother said I suspect he would still have come if we wanted him as his brother told my friend not to be surprised if he ends up at ku should that job ever open up as he really wants to be closer to home.  Just telling you what I heard a few weeks back.  The bottom line is Synder wanted to coach again and in reality he earned the right of first refusal with the current admin.  I really have no problem with his hire as he has proven he can win here, no one else has....not even Patterson(although I think he could).

It was only "blown" by the administration who gave Bill Snyder right of first refusal.

If only we could go back to 2005 and hire Patterson then.  Hard not to think about what might have been.   :'(
