Both.

Matt Boss is the prime example.  He was 4 *'s, people said he was road grater, blah, blah, blah.  Strong, could run, blah, blah, blah.

Well, come to find out, he only played in a two-point stance in HS.  All that breeds is bad habits.  I started thinking this guy doesn't know how to block.

So, I couldn't wait to watch him in the Shrine Bowl his senior year to see if Rivals and the FREAKS knew what they were talking about.  After his performance in that game, I learned not to put much weight in Rivals rankings.  Matt Boss couldn't block a turtle from getting across the road.  All he did was titty-tap.  His technique was awful and he had no clue how to get his hands on a guy and drive block.

But, I will give Boss credit -- he was impressive at NU last year.  I think if he didn't get hurt in the 2nd quarter, K-State would have won the game by at least 10 points.  He was being that dominant.

But, the FREAKS and 'tards think he should be playing this year because he was 4 *'s -- they still know what's best.
