Aka the anti Tim Weiser.   The Ole Miss AD is proactively hinting at a pay raise for Houston Nutt, because he realizes that he didn't "rescue" Houston Nutt from Arkansas . . . hell Houston Nutt would've had an assload of job offers even if he got fired at Arkansas.   Now the Ole Miss AD knows he's got a good thing going, and wants to keep it that way.  It's a shame that Tim Weiser opted for the "Bob can kiss my ring" approach with Bob Huggins.  But hey, Kougs didn't hear about it, so it didn't happen.

Houston Nutt

There is no current plan for a raise for Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt, but athletics director Pete Boone did not rule that out. In his first season at Ole Miss, Nutt led the Rebels to an 8-4 overall record, second (5-3) in the SEC’s Western Division. “We’d just have to sit down and talk about that,” Boone said. “The contract is just a year old.
