reminds me of about half the games in the Wooly era.  Seemed we always had the ball at the end with a chance to win or tie and rarely ever even got a shot up.

wow. good post op.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

We still scrapped our way to a lot of clutch baskets to even get ourselves to that point.

drove for 2.

I was thinking the exact same thing when that happened. It just leaves you confused on what they are thinking out there. :poundon:

You can't be racist and like basketball.
penetrate and kickouts are possibly the best way to get open 3's in end-of-game situations.

More of a factor when you are down 2 though. Defense doesn't have to respect any drives to the hoop in that situation.

they tend to do so anyways.  instinct overrides game situation (2006-2007 ut game hoskins to martin).  plus with 8-9 seconds like last night, plenty of time to get 2 and foul.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Yeah.  I was drinking bourbon, but I'm pretty sure sutton was sucking people into the lane.

Frank said on postgame this would be fine if a step-in 3 didn't open up.
