Herrara and Colon or Bennet? I say Bennet if he bought into the program. But he turned out to be a TC, FP. Bennet could of potential made this team contenders if he would have devoloped like Colon or Kent.

But he had no work ethic and was a worthless piece of

here's the thing with that:

Herrera should not even be on the court right now. his tiny pinhead and wide hips would suggest that even to a man who is legally blind.

Colon is improving, but will get his ass handed to him come big 12 play. yes, im happy with hows he's turning out, and his hustle..losing another 30 pounds..etc...but he still moves like someone wearing shoes lined with thousands upon thousands of pounds of concrete.

bennett thought that since he was tall, that the rest would just come to him. not the case. the only thing that came to him were white trash bitches and make out sessions on random couches.

so its tough to say who i'd rather have. its not a package deal for bennett or bennett's potential vs. improvement from other players.

Herrera is probably a very similar player to Bennett right now, basically just a tall guy to come in and give you some fouls, and maybe a block here and there.  I'm fine with Abdul being the third big man to play, as long as foul trouble doesn't force him into playing much more than like 5 minutes a game.

It's pretty useless to talk about some hypothetical Bennet who works.  Cause he doesn't exist.  The real Bennet isn't naturally a good basketball player, and doesn't care to make himself one.  

Colon did actually manage to go 5 of 7 from the field, grab 7 rebounds, and get a block and an assist in an actual real world game.  It looks to me like he'll probably be able to get a few rebounds/stick-backs against non-crapty competition this year.  

So I'll take that, plus the 5 extra fouls that Herrera gives us over Bennet, and I don't even have to think about it all that hard.

I have no reason to believe Herrera is way better or way worse than our other bigs.  I do think he has more upside than any of them.  Bennett would've played in the NBA if he decided to buy in.  Too bad he's a knucklhead.

Herrera, because he only wastes two (or one?) years of scholarship.  Healthy, I'm guessing he's no worse than Colon or Bennett, who would be sucking up 4 years of scholarship.

yeah - sucky juco bigs are always better than sucky high school bigs for the sole reason that their 'ships turn over faster.  makes me kind of nervous for when/if j-hen arrives.

Didn't get my point. Colon has definitely gotten better, but he still sucks balls out there. I just hope he keeps improving and won't hurt us when we get to Big XII play b/c he is about all we have. I still think he blows and is in way over his head with his comments last night. 

The dude made 5 layups and 1 shot not that big of a deal, it is his third year and has finally scored in double figs for the first time Who cares it was against Oakland, but he thinks he had an unbelievable game. STFU Luis and do something against a legit team starting with Kentucky!

Christ Beasley didn't say he was so happy for himself when he was scoring 25 and grabing 15 boards a night, why should Colon be like this? Because he is fracking terrible and can't believe he actually got to play some minutes last night and made some shots (or layups). GMAFB Colon, do something against Kentucky before you pat yourself on the back!

He should be happy and gain confidence, but he shouldn't tell the public that he works so hard  he should be humble, like I said Mike Beaz may have been a goofball but was humble and expressed great swagger without saying it

JFC Colon looked solid yesterday.  He looked like a solid second stringer for 9 of the 12 big 12 teams.  All this hate is completely unwarranted and based on old results.  This whiny bitch trend is getting old.
