Overall thoughts...

“Kansas State played very well and shot the ball a lot better than they have all year. We dared them to shoot the three a little bit as their stats coming into the game were not very good. (Jacob) Pullen shot the ball very well and should thank me because we wanted to force him to shoot it. He should send me a Christmas card. Their guard play was very good as they forced 22 turnovers. We have played Syracuse, Oregon, Iowa and none of them made us turn the ball over like that. Their athleticism is great and I give them a lot of credit as we were never in the game. The game is over and we now play seven more games in a row where the other team is favored. But, we have to go beat them.”

On playing Kentucky...

“It is going to feel great. We get the chance to really go out prove that K-State basketball is back up now. It is not the slump that they may have gone through for three or four years. We are here and as long as Frank (Martin) is here he is going to continue to bring good players and K-State basketball is going to be something to deal with.”

3-4 years.

LOL. Puls, you have no idea, bro's.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

But, I think a lot of it was our legs as we traveled all the way across the country and now back across it. So, I think that has a lot to do with the outcome.

yep. the three ball in your face all had nothing to do with it

Junior Luis Colon

On the career high tonight...

“I have been working for three years. I work well in open space.”

On the crowd shouting his name...

“It feels good. I’m just so proud of myself for working so hard all the time.

:curse: STFU Colon, enjoy this game before Patterson fouls you out in the first half.

BTW Louie used his patened off the side of the backboard jumper tonight! :dancin:

You don't think Luis has improved greatly?  He HAS worked his ass off and it shows.  You're clueless if you think otherwise.

I don't give a frack how hard he has worked and if he is happy for how hard he has worked, he is still  :flush: Awful, but can be helpful if he defends bigs well for us against higher level opponents.

QfT.  Could still afford to lose weight though, although I'm sure he's trying (dunno how hard it is to lose weight tbh)

Forget losing weight, maybe learn how to become cordinated and how to play basketball. Specifically with his back to the basket like a lost post player does!

Which he promptly rebounded and scored.  He was just padding his rebound stats.   :skillz:

he really catches them off guard with that.  They all turn around to rebound it, but it comes back to his hands and he gets an easy shot.  Best move in all of basketball, better than MJ

Just sayin Luis should be a little more humble, Christ we played Oakland, fracking Oakland if this was against Kentucky I would be  :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :dancin: But it wasn't, he has definitly been better but still has no business on the court in big time D1 basketball. Prove me wrong Luis! :ksu:

Cut the kid some slack.  He had the best game of his young career, and he was excited.  Nothing wrong with showing some enthusiasm.

luis has definitely put in the work so i'm very glad that he's starting to reap some of the benefits.  there were even a handful of times that i saw last night when he SPRINTED from key to key when we were in transition.  had a very nice seal-off on one of them also to ensure an easy layup by dom.

On Clemente's break-away lay-up he put his left hand behind his head while laying it up with his right.
