1) Defense/special teams scores at least one touchdown.
2) D/ST puts our offense in position to score another on a very short field (20 yards or under).
3) Offense gets a few first downs in the first half.

Otherwise, the ineffectiveness of our offense is going to result in our defense being worn down by the second half.  Even though our defense has looked good so far, and even if they play tough the first half, if they're tired in the second, L-Ville is going to run away with it in the third and fouth quarters.  Our offense doesn't have to put up huge numbers...it just needs to take advantage of whatever opportunities the defense gives them and put together a few 4 minute drives in the first half.

Prediction:  L-Ville 34, KSU 10.

Hopefully their 2nd string qb in his first road game will turn the ball over at least 3 times.

Hopefully he forgets the other road games he played in and thinks this is his first!   :hope:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

My bad...

However, I would hope that the crowd at The Bill will be a little more intimidating than UCONN's fanbase.

Huggins is going to announce that we've sold out our season basketball tickets during halftime on the video board in front of the hoops visitors.

It's going to take a Herm Edwards type game plan to win.

Ball control.  Stretch play left.  Stretch play right.  Quick out.  Punt for field position.  But unlike Herm, Prince will take a few chances downfield under max protect.  We have to score on - I would think - 3 offensive possessions.  As Slimz said, we'd love a ST score also.

Zero giveaways.  2 takeaways.

Suffocating defense.

If we are within 7 with the ball in the last 5 minutes, we score a TD...........( and go for 2?)

Hope it plays out that way.

... tainted water and Gatorade on the Louisville bench??

Polka Band playing outside team hotel rooms until 6 a.m ... screaming "Everybody Polka" between 14 minute each songs??

The old Ex-Lax in the Pizza trick??

Louisville forced to play entire game with their non-dominant hand??

Louisville playbook mixed up in a pile of books entitled "3 things can happen when you pass and 2 of them are bad" by Woody Hayes.

The old mixed up street signs trick??

Move game to old Memorial Stadium and not tell Louisville ... feign surprise and disgust when they finally show up??

Strategically place guys with shotguns along the sidelines ... shoot football every time Louisville throws a pass, have ball boys look at footballs with perplexed look??

Coed Sapphic action throughout game near Louisville Sidelines??

Monitor Louisville Headsets ... occasionally blast "Mexican Radio" by Wall of Voodoo into headsets ... claim it's a rogue transmitter just "across the border".

+ 3 in the TO department.
At least one score by ST or defense.
120+ yards on the ground.

I'm thinking 27-6 Cards.

Excellent post. We could use more rushing yards though, and if we hold them to under 70 yards rushing....that would rock!

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

We win if ...
1) Defense/ST scores a TD or sets up for very short TD drive
2) We win the turnover battle
3) We convert on our crucial 3rd downs
4) We get more TDs than FGs

Louisville 27-20

bull crap. without brohm or bush louisville is not the best team in the country would be a more accurate statement. if louisville has brohm and bush against miami, they put up fifty points. cantwell and both of their second string backs would start at any big 12 school right now save maybe oklahoma because of peterson.

Cantwell the walk-on?

Stripling (RB) the 2-star?

Smith (RB) had offers from Louisville and Indiana?

These guys would start for OU, Texas, Nebraska, etc.?

Louisville has BELOW AVERAGE talent for a top 10 team.

they wouldn't have started initially. but now that they have been coached by coach P, and how low the big 12 is right now (we won four games this past weekend) they would start at every school in the big12, definitely at kstate anyway.
