First "KSU is Damn Good" thread I've seen.

Okay, I just got done watching the KSU VS. Marshall game. Worry, seriously worry. I realize Marshall is awful, but KSU is like what UofL was 2 years ago. They're bold, they'll do trick plays - they don't care. To start off the game, they literally went for a trick onsides kick (lined up in regular formation and then sent the ball for a onside kick). It almost worked until the ref's determined that one of the players for KSU was offsides. Then they proceeded to kick the ball off out of the inzone. That's just the first few secs of the game.

Opening play, what happens? Marshall does Brohm's favorite dump pass to a TE and gets RAILED, fumbles the ball to KSU.

This isn't USF, a trap game. Why? BECAUSE I'M TELLING YOU ALL NOW: KSU IS THE REAL DEAL. We better take them very seriously - as seriously if not more so than Miami.

I think unless KSU shows a lot of improvement on offense, (like the OL discovers how to block), then they have nothing to worry about.

Hopefully, KSU's D keeps them in it.  I really liked how they played last week...be nice to throw some confusing looks and get some cheap TO's.

I just hope we keep it close early. I don't want this game to be over in the first quarter. From what we've seen so far I don't think that will happen. KK just got me pumped up. I'd add the '02 Texas game to that list. I want a "lose your voice" game. It's been a while since I lost my voice at a game.

Seriously, nothing you can see will ruin this for me.  I have experienced more sports related pain than you could ever imagine.  I've finally shed the burden of great expectations every year and have fully embraced the any win over 1 is a joy.  That is why I am so excited for this game, we play a top 10 opponent at home with literally nothing to lose.  If we lose, it has literally ZERO effect on the season for us becuase the implications of an OOC loss to a top 10 opponent for this team is NOTHING.

I almost feel sad for you because you will NEVER see Mangino play a game like this.  EVER.  Not even a Marshall game.

Good luck with basketball or whatever, I guess.
