we have six schollies. that gives us walker beasley blair reed kennedy and mayo. the only spot mayo would be taking from would either be pope (we don't want him) or the juco player (not grcoat quality). might as well give it to a one year guy and then have it for the following season. we don't want our whole class to graduate at once anyway... MAYO, come to kstate, we love you!!!

mayo is the most talented player since lebron james.  mayo has better size, can shoot, pass, and create better than pullen.  he'll be worth having for a year.  pullen should go to dayton with his friends, and we should get either mayo/reed and wait for better options.

Yea, but theres a better chance that he comes in, and F's things up by being a headcase and getting in Huggs dog house. Then he decides to leave in the middle of the year. Hes not going to make his decision until Spring anyway. No reason to hold out a scholly on another player in hopes he does come. I suppose if another scholly opens uo in the spring due to a transfer or something, it could be used on him. But I aint gonna bust any nuts over Mayo tidbits, because they dont mean shiat.

Mayo hasn't shown any signs of being a headcase.  Likely as not the overwhelming majority of BS swirling around him is started by folks hoping to force his hand.  It's actually nice to see that he's not bought into all of that crap just yet.
