It's professional sports dumbass ... professional sports is purely a bandwagon situation for me.

Bandwagon NFL fans are just as pathetic as bandwagon college football fans.
Pretty much, but I realize on a college board, most NFL fans are just casual observers.

Lions fans heckle the players and boo relentlessly.

Chiefs fans don't do this?

And even though Lions fans "boo and heckle" (stuff that Chiefs fans supposedly don't do) what has that gotten them?

If by "heckle the players and boo relentlessly" you mean, "pass a $400,000,000 stadium bill which is funded almost soley (~90%) by Jackson County taxpayers" (one of which I am and voted no against this POS thing) then yes, KC fans are on par with the rest of the league in their reaction to mediocre franchise management.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Well Ford Motor Company is going under so that should have a positive effect on Ford Field and the franchise at large, not to mention the economic impact on the fanbase!

I don't give a F_ck Goldy ... it's pro sports.

The worst kind of fan is your typical Johnson County based ku BASKETBALL "fan" ... the kind that's lived in Johnson County for 40 years, never set foot in a classroom at ku, never even thought twice about supporting any other ku sports ... but they'll claim they're a HUGE ku fan.

Yes, those are by far the worst.  Unfortunately, they are not limited to Johnson County.  I work with quite a few of them here in Topeka.

The ease at which they can be torn to shreads in seconds makes them greatest non-KSU fans IMO.

I work with at least a dozen of these idiots. They couldn't tell you the name of one ku reserve basketball player or the coach's name from any other Big XII school.  :flush:
You're correct, JOCO is full of them.

I'm trying to figure out how you could be a fan of a pro-team and NOT be a "bandwagon" team...it's not like you have a vested interest in their success...unless you're a season ticket holder I guess...

Anywho....I have no problem believing what Ms. Everidge said.  That being said, it's time for everyone to move on...both her, and the folks that continue to degrade her son (and her).

And this is why you are a janitor.......
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Guilty.

However, even if I wasn't, i'd still be a fan.  I don't see how college/pro should be different in that regard.  I guess the only reason I'd not be a Chiefs fan is if they moved.

Pro or collegiate, so what? Its still sports. I don't see why the bandwagon rules change for you just because its professional. You watch attendance rates constantly and are always accusing ku fans of bandwagonism and yet, you yourself hopped off one just because the team was only doing good, not great.

Ridiculous.

And the number of Ksu football fans that don't know the name of a player on the team besides the quarterback is just as pathetic as those ku basketball 'fans' that you speak of. Both sides have them, all over. Three years ago I was working with a chick(who was a pretty hot red-head) who claimed she was a huge kstate football fan. Right after your loss to Marshall I asked her 'how about those wildcats' and she said 'who cares, they suck.' Met a lot of them.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

The worst of the worst is Johnson County morons (I live here so I'm allowed to call them that) that are ku basketball fans and K-state football fans.

WTF.

Round them all up in a wagon and burn it.
