OU recovered the on-side kick, Oregon NEVER had the ball, EVER. If you watch the pile (like everyone did), out the back, between the legs of the OU player face down on the ground you'll find the ball. It was hard to catch but the ball was never in the pile or in an Oregon players hands. An OU guy spots it and takes possession. No Oregon player ever saw him with it so there was no tussle for it.'
My question is how does a ref award the ball without ever seeing any player with the ball. They awarded the ball to a player in/around the pile who was in green, somehow? Horrible. I mean, hell, they just made it up, had too.
