I like the way he consistently mispells "root".
My bad. For some reason, when I see the word "root" I get visions of the KSU Co-eds I saw in the stands when you guys played Tech or OU. Did my eyes deceive me or did both those teams hang half a hunyon on you by halftime? Yikes! Anyway, my brain automatically wants to default to a different spelling. The "root" factor is another reason our recruits would not follow GP if he chose to "Go Home". At least if he allows them to visit while school is in cession. Fran learned the same thing at aTm.

I have since reprogrammed my self. Thanks.

Root, rout, route;  I have to read his posts several times to figure out what he's trying to say.

Sagarin Rankings:

2008: tcu SOS 77 0-2 vs Top 10, 1-2 vs Top 30

2007:  tcu SOS of 67 . . .  0-2 vs Top 30

2006:  tcu SOS 82 . . . 0-1 vs Top 30

KSU 2008 SOS 33

KSU 2007 SOS 38

KSU 2006 SOS 47

Maybe you're right, it's going to be a lot tougher sledding for GP in a big boy conference, he better stay at tcu.

Where is the school going?  Did you finally give up and turn the school over to your father institution, SMU?

No chance. He isn't ready because he doesn't want a turn around gig. His hope is his buddy Fran gets the job and does for KSU what he did for tcu. Build a good foundation and get a recruiting pipeling going. Fran will want to leave in 3-4 years, after going to a bcouple bowl games, and there will be more to work with for GP. He just has no interest in getting his lungs kicked in week in and week out for 2 years.

pretty terrible first post.
You don't see any truth there? How well do you really know GP? He and his staff are putting the full court press on contacting the recruits to reassure them he is not going to KSU (yet). I'm a tcu fan but I have always routed for KSU to a certain extent. The Bishop years were magical (not in a gay way). I actually consider myself a fairly neutral observer.

How well do you know him?  Did he tell you he doesnt want a "turnaround gig"? KSU isnt necessarily a turnaroung gig...all he has to do is watch some film and see there is some talent on the roster...just retards coaching them.  The facilities are in place, the boosters will pay out the a$$ for anything GP wants. GP already has a recruiting pipeline in TX, as does ksu (as was v. evident for 10+ yrs). He wont get drilled wk in and wk out while rebuilding bc, if you havent noticed, ksu plays in the big 12 north....which is simply terrible.  The only program doin anything right now is Mizzou...and they're gonna suck the next few yrs.
Do you know that the chances of Fran comin to ksu are pretty frackin slim and if its not GP it'll likely be Snyder?
Pretty well. There is little proof that you can sustain good recruiting in Manhattan. Snyder went to a freakin BCS bowl (2003? too lazy to research) and he couln't translate it into better recruiting. The program actually slipped into  :flush:

Don't think that kind of stuff goes unnoticed. GP is 48 and isn't ready to come home and die yet. In a couple to three years he may take the chance.

Serial?  Ever heard of a little something called the DoD (decade of dominance).  All it takes is a few competent assistants, which snyder lacked after '03 and was too loyal to them to get rid of them.  GP has a good staff that he'll bring with him and they can obviously recruit.  Also...I highly doubt if you know GP so well you'd be on some trash message board like this spouting off inside info.

I'm on this board because you guys invaded ours and I thought you guys were funny as hell. Thought I would visit and give you some scoop at the same time.
Thanks for the info Rick.
Wow. That was offensive. I think I will take my ball and go home. :crybaby:

When you sit back and think about the events on Friday you'll see I speak the truth.

Uniballer, is that you?

Does KSU98 mean you are 98? As in senile? If we had beat Utah we would have been #7 and in. If OU made us cry, what did they do to you? For that matter what kind of tears did you cry against Louisville, Tech, Kansas and Missouri. Do you guys need to build an Ark before all the balling creates a flood? Mercy, you guys gave up 37 to U La La? We thought 35 points to OU was embarrasing.   I am embarrased for you and I don't even know you.

Good new is that you wore out North Texas and Monty State.

do you not understand that ksu is not a turnaround program...we have far more talent than tcu, they are just not as well coached. We have a top  draft pick coming back with a lot of talent around him. tcu is a crapty program to say the least. You guys can't even sell out a game, thats pathetic. I have a friend on the ksu team and they whole team has been told that GP is going to be our new coach. Go start posting on another board and try to figure out who your new coach is, instead of trying to bring back GP.
Is crapty a good thing? I tried to look it up in the Urban Dictionary you guys like and couldn't find it. Maybe you have your own language up there. You actually have a potential draft pick? That changes everything!

Let me try to make this simple for you: if GP thinks you are a turn around then it doesn't matter what you think. You are a turn around.

You guys need to concentrate on JUCOs. You have always been good at that. We and most of the rest of the country don't care so much about them. Also, if you have more talent, schedule us. You always blame the coaches. You just can't grasp that Manhattan is a tough place to win.

Have the Frogs ever been to an Alliance/BCS bowl? Maybe that says something about your conference affiliations.

Btw, KSU has won the Fiesta and made it to another Fiesta Bowl while having more than 1 loss . Amazing what being in a real conference can do for you.
How did that work out for you? That's right, Snyder used the BCS game to catapult KSU into a perinial BCS power...

Wait, you guys went straight into the toilet after that game and have been there since. GP notices that. We don't deserve the BCS this year because we lost to Utah. If we had won and beat AF we would be in. BTW, we are still 18th with two losses so someone likes our condference. I guess you don't get to vote.

FYI, the way OSU treated you in that game showed you didn't really belong either. Tell the truth. :nono:
You guys lost your BCS bid when OU made you cry.

Wow, you guys are killing us on the SOS. You must be very proud! Maybe one day you can win the mythical SOS NC and celebrate with the sheep! :jerkoff: We are number 18 so somebody must think we are pretty good. We choked it to UTAH (not afraid to say it) or we would be 7. We'll let KSU win the SOS and we'll focus on winning games.

Now I understand why your program swims around in an American Standard. How apropos!

The North is GP's dream.  He can win it and go to a BCS.  He will bolt tcu first chance he gets because there, a single loss ruins the season because playing in that wretched conference is killing him.  Not his fault but he must get annoyed when during his best season the fans won't come watch.

I forgot. KSU is never "in cession" being a correspondent and commuter school. That explains your confusion with my post. I am learning as I go. Bear with me.

First chance? He looked up your skirt last time and didn't like the smell. Have you already forgotten? No number of showers or douche changes can change the stench of your program. He knows that which is why he isn't coming. He simply used you for leverage in his renegotiation with tcu. Haven't you heard? Man, I feel like Fitz busting this story to soon. What have I done. :ohno:

Maybe someday you'll quit proving how overrated a tcu education is . . . just pointing out that GP probably should stay at a school where he can play 60-70-80 plus SOS schedules every year and nobody cares, because that's just expected.

School is in session, not cession.  Cession refers to the process of being ceded.  And commuter schools are schools located in urban locations, where most students commute from other areas of the city and few live on campus.  Please enlighten me as to how that has anything to do with KSU.  It doesn't surprise me that you are shooting your mouth about things you know so little about.

Yep, sure is. When we go to a BCS bowl, we play pretty tough teams. Not that you guys would understand.
Nothing but patsies for us. That is the way we like which is why we have tried to schedule your fine program. Wait, OU in '05, Tech in '06  :blahblah:

tcu played OU AND Tech?
In back-to back years? Srsly?  :ohno:

Wow. KSU only has to play Mizzou, NU and CU every year not to mention ku, then Texas, Texas Tech, A&M, OU, and OSU only 2 out of 4 years.
When you live in a real conference, you don't need to schedule OOC juggernauts, you have them built into your schedule year in and year out. See how that works?

I still believe the Cats will get GP as the coach, it just makes too much sense and all fits too well for it not to come to fruition.  However, there may be a longer delay now.  GP probably doesn't want it to seem like it was in the works (I believe they have some kind of a verbal already...or had that before Fitz spewed it forth), so GP may delay the announcement and any finalizing until into the bowl season, or after their mid-December bowl instead of announcing it at the end of the regular season.  Pretty much every media/quasi-media site seems to have indicated they had heard many rumors the same as what Fitz reported, they just couldn't get any confirmations to run or support the story.  Still seems like the, "where there's smoke, there's fire" type thing.

Another "in all seriousness"

Does this delay/Frack-up caused by Fitz leave GP open to more offers from other schools? Meaning, had Fitz not blown the "secret ultra CIA deal" cover, and now GP is publicly dissing KSU, has the chance for a Clemson or Tenn to now come in and start talking to him?

He's already announced that he is not interested in the Tenn. job.  Supposedly, the Tenn job opening up and Tenn contacting GP is what forced our hand and led us to fire Prince not only mid-season, but mid-week.  As far as Clemson goes: I can't imagine that he wouldn't be at least willing to listen.  But, he did say that he did not care for schools that fire their coach mid-season...
