I was just watching the Marshall game highlights from last year on inside.etc.   Two Marshall turnovers inside the 5 yard line, which I had forgotten about, and then of course the interception at the end.

We were not a good team last year.  I hope that Saturday goes well, but I'm just worried about inconsistency after last week's showing.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Snyder's playcalling after Webb's interception made the game a lot closer than it should have been.

Early, Snyder was somewhat upredictable, and KSU was pretty much unstoppable on offense.  After Webb threw his interception, KSU called one pass play over the next thirty offensive plays that wasn't on third down, and it was a screen pass on 2nd and 4.

Not one pass play was called on first down the rest of the game.  Snyder definitely had a play to "not lose" mentality that game.

Which Snyder are you referring to?

I think throwing on the interception play before the potential game-winning FG takes Marshall's Snyder out of "play not to lose" contention.

Del Miller was calling the plays until Snyder took it over and went into the play not to lose mentality.  Some on here probably will bag on Del but he is a very good offensive minded coach...He called the shots finally during the mizzou game...
" and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me," Carl Spackler

Jermaine Moreira doesn't fumble = we win.  Thomas Clayton doesn't run out of bounds = we win.  Our playcalling doesn't go to crap = we win.  We gave that game up.

wasn't that supposedly the qb's fault and not the coaches?  that finish is still unbelievable.  thats the kind of thing i hope doesn't happen to prince and company this season.

F-ing horrible.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
