Louisville LB Nate Harris is quoted as saying (about Miami who Louisville plays this week):

"It's not the same Miami that it used to be. They still have the name 'Miami Hurricanes'. They used to dominate everybody. It just hasn't been the same the past couple of years. They still have great players, but it's not how it used to be." This reminds me alot of the attitude that Fresno State had when we played them.

Ironically enough Harris signed with Miami out of H.S. but was let go by the 'Canes after he got into some legal trouble.

Here's the thing.....Miami is 53-10 in their last 63 games. Not good by Miami standards but pretty good otherwise. They also have a national championship a lot more recently then Louisville does.

If Louisville is talking this much trash about Miami I wonder how they'll talk about playing us a week later. I wonder what kind of a letdown Louisville will have when they come here. They'll either be high as a kite if they win or lower then low if they lose (especially if they get blown out). In a way I hope they win so it makes us look better if we can beat them.

Yes we can.

We just have to play better than them.

Depends on how both KSU and Louisville do this weekend.

Louisville plays bad on the road against decent teams.  KSU might be considered a decent team after this weekend.

Then I'd say our chances of winning go up to about 50%

I think our chance is 20-25 percent.... but it could be as high as 30.

L'ville has a HUGE game this week.  They are going to way up for it and won't be able to match that next week on the road.

Or they could get beat and be down in the dumps if Miami takes care of business.

I don't know the Cards to be an angry team, so if they get beat, i don't expect them to be taking it out on us in a big way.

Right now.... i think we lose by 10 pts.

All that matters is that KSU plays well enough to win.

You know that little saying Bill Snyder used to say?  Any team can beat you if you don't play well?   We have to play better than Louisville.   Louisville is not unbeatable.   Do I think we can win?  Yes.  Will it be easy?  No.  Our chances are small, but.. we've been there before.

we have the smallest chances of winning this game than we have had of winning any game that we played in in the last ten years imo...

I'd give KSU about a 30% chance of winning that game at this point.  I'd feel much better if they weren't kicking off at the crack of dawn in football terms.  I was really hoping for a night game.

I just hope KSU beats Marshall.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
