    Fear the Brick
unbelievable.  Simply unbelievable.  Let me make this clear:  there isn't a worse run athletic department than KSU.  Bob Krause and Jon Weflad should be publicly flogged for not only being part of one terrible coaching hire, but now 2….in a row.   We are so JV, so small town highschool, so 580AM radio it's too much to take.  What is worse about Snyder being back as a long term solution is him being back as a short term solution, because what the short term solution effectively means is that we're not prepared to hired that unqualified assistant now, but will be willing to do so in 2 years.  We might as well just quit football, or figure out a way to build an artificially intelligent Snyder robot because what KSU football has effectively said is this:  you can only win at KSU if your name is Bill Snyder.

I cannot wait for Wefald to resign.  And I can't wait for the next UP to come in and see what special olympians we have running the show in the AD's office.  F*ck KSU.  F*ck them for even giving me the hope that they'd actually make a competent hire.  F*ck them for tucking those tiny stones between their legs and making the convenient, unintelligent hire.  And while I'm at it, F*ck you Bill for putting yourself ahead of the university.  You old, krusty man...what makes you think that you're going to surround yourself with succesful coaches again when you slowly showed you couldn't do it for the past 6-8 years of your tenure?  You think you're the answer?  You were part of the problem...part of the reason KSU was even in the spot to hire Ron Prince in the first place.

    DOD Take Two
Granted, I would rather have BV out of the gate. However, I think you are too critical on Bill. There is a reason the man is a legend. This could be the perfect storm. BV comes in, experiments w/o all the pressure as head coach. Bill works like JoePa and oversees the program and acts like a figure head. He allows BV total control over the defense and works with the offensive staff, as after all that is what Bill is good at.

After it is all said and done, we win the national championship in three years. As predicted by CatMatt Mojo

Totally confused?
Who are you talking about hiring, Snyder?
Sounds like it's MCGinnis....

McGinnis would be dumb (esp as HC), but equating Prince to McGinnis is just as dumb.  JMHO.

seriously though, how long can we have Bill Snyder, who is 69, coach this team before we're in the same situation and need a new coach. Might as well make the long term hire now.

the thinking is so illogical it's mind blowing.  The AD is basically treating its fan base like they are all 6 years old.  "Don't worry, we'll get grandpa and uncle dave to tell you a nice bed time story".  How the hell is McGinnis qualified in 2 years, but not right now?  What the f*ck is Bill going to do in 2 years?  Something he couldn't do in his last 2 years?  This is so not well thought out...and what makes it so not well thought out is the fact that those f'ing morons that are making this decision actually think it's well thought out, they actually think that this is the answer.  JFC, did Ron take out his hole punched documents and let Krause use his binder?

missing an important reference to "old balls" - it's too bad, ruined an otherwise nice effort

and I haven't even gotten to the scarier part….what if McGinnis isn't the next head coach in waiting….what if it's really the OC - Dana Dimel.  Which would be awesome because what the KSU program reallly needs after they just fired a coach with a losing college record....is another coach with a losing college record.  We're f'd.  Totally f'd.  Jesus Bill, you just couldn't leave it alone, could you?  You honestly think that what's wrong with this program can be fixed with "coaching".  What's wrong is that you thought this and ran f'ing Dylan Meier out there for QB (guess what..we've got DM v2 waiting in the wings...hellllloo Carson Coffman).  Meier isn't a Big 12 QB even if f'ing Vince Lombardi was coaching him.

I usually don't make requests of this nature...but if you can someone slip a Mr. Burns reference into the next written assault I would appreciate it. That one is my favorite.

If true + reportedly removing his name from Tennessee consideration = very interesting

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70
