It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

pc, they're better off with Self.  Roy was a godawful coach.

That's why it doesn't bother him.

roy wasn't a bad coach, he just smokes too much weed, check his eyes in that pic for evidence.  what other reason would he have for his eyes looking like that??

I think Roy's tirades are better then Coach Hair Club for Men.

Roy really could toss that jacket.

Plus ... Roy never lost in the 1st round.

You guys are a ton of fun.  Minus Rusty.  He's always a wet blanket.

I see a lot of good things for this board.

Roy was a godawful coach.

Just out of curiosity though, who said he was a God-awful coach?

I was "exaggerating" somewhat.  However, saying Roy is a bad coach isn't much more ridiculous than saying you're better off with Self.

What does it matter?  You guys are over him.  I saw a thread about it today*.

Betty Ford Clinic?  Good grief, Dax.  Where did that even come from?  What reason would I have, one that you could possibly be referencing, for heavy drinking or heavy drug use?

Obviously, at this point we're not better off with Self.  Two first round faceplants aren't pretty.

However, I do personally prefer Self.  Self wants to be here.  Roy didn't.  Why would I want someone to coach my team who thinks we're second rate, as Roy so obviously did/does?

As an aside, and in all seriousness, this board is going to be a blast.  GPC and kstatefans suck hardcore these days; so badly, in fact, that I rarely even bother to read them anymore.

This board is like a collection of the KSU all-stars.  Dax, Rusty, and Fatty...all on one board!  All we need is Hatter thrown into the mix.

Cause it makes you better a better team.  For example, I'd rather have Rick Pitino be my coach and think Manhattan is a sh1thole than have Jim "I love KSU" Wooldridge lead us.

Hatter reads this board, but won't post.  I would love to have him here if we had more rivals on board.  He knows how to push buttons!

I can't believe anybody would actually wear that shirt.  I have also seen the shirt with Roy's pic that said "The Lyin' King."

Different strokes, I guess.

If the difference were just a gaping chasm, I would probably be more in line with your way of thinking.  Self's still got a bit of time (this season) to make a run into the tourney before I start thinking too negatively about him.  He's currently recruiting at a level that even Roy never did while here, however, and I think there's something to be said for talent winning out in the end.  I guess we'll see.

For now, however, I'll stick with the guy who wants to be at ku, rather than the guy who thinks ku is "stuck out there."

How'd we get to talking Hoops on the Gridiron "Plaza," people?
