I'm with Hatter on this one:  this KSU team was salty on defense last year.  Add better players and Huggs (not to mention a rocking Purple Pit), and KSU is going to be one of everyone's least favorite places to play.

Swap any of those wins with upsets and we win at least 10 games this in conference.

As I've said elsewhere, we need to recognize the reality that the North is now a two-horse race between us and ku.  Everyone else is an also-ran.*





*  I realize that there aren't divisional standings in basketball.  I'm talking about perception.  And even if this isn't "reality" yet, we need to act like it is and tick off the other four North schools.

I don't see why this team can't make a run a the Big 12 title, not saying they will win it, but should have a chance down the stretch, unless ku is just pounding everyone. 

We return everyone who matters, from a team that lost 9 games by 5 points or less.  With the talent we've added, not to mention Huggins, 6-10 would be a major dissappointment.  I maybe drinking too much purple kool-aid with the title talk, but we should be in the tournament, if not, another big dissappointment.  Huggs has a streak of what, 16 straight tournament appearrances?  The streak does not end this year in my opinion.

If Huggs is really worried about the point, he will be working Young there alot, who played some point at Daytona.
