MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State Wildcats (2-0) will look to keep their early-season roll going this Saturday when the Marshall Thundering Herd (1-1) visits Bill Snyder Family Stadium for the final game of a three-game contract that has spawned one of the most heated intersectional rivalries in the nation.

i could say it is some lower level of rivalry since they knocked us off in 03 and we lucked out last year, but "most heated"?  No way in he ll.

Yeah, when you consider that something like USC-Notre Dame is a true intersectional rivalry, its tough to call Marshall vs K-State one of the most heated in the nation.  Stomping on our Powercat a couple years ago doesn't make it heated.
